CREATING A COMMUNITY OF ACHIEVERS

Following the recent impressive message encouraging the culture of entrepreneurship from the Minister of Small Business Development, Lindiwe Sisulu, during the Small Enterprise Development Agency’s annual stakeholder’s forum we are of the viewpoint that encouraging a culture of entrepreneurship takes more than just equipping people with the necessary technical skills and tools. The soft skills necessary to navigate the complex entrepreneurial landscape and the inspiration to keep going are vital before we can push everyone into the difficult creativity arena. what it takes

With that said, this picture alongside is a typical example of how most individuals jump into entrepreneurship because of its rosy surface, and fail to realise their goals when met with obstacles.

Having said that, E-Vibe proudly presents Inspire Magazine, a publication at the forefront of keeping it real. For just R10.00 a month or a once-off annual subscription of R120.00 you can get all the inspiration you require to explore creative ways for turning the tide in the Socio-Economic Landscape. The truth of the matter is, Entrepreneurship is not for everyone, most people need a nudge in order to take the leap.

As a result, entrepreneurs Darryl Norman and Colin Jooste from E-Vibe presents a publication that will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and either encourage as many people in your circle to subscribe, contribute an article or sponsor a loved one with an annual subscription or do something other than attending one meeting after the other while the Province continues to receive shocking Unemployment Statistics. This is not the time to wonder or stroll, fill in your subscription and be counted among the active citizens driving positive change.

hat if everyone in the world took initiative to improve society? What if instead of looking to others, everyone stepped up?

In his address to a group of students at Barratt Junior High School in Philadelphia on October 26, 1967. That is approximately six months before his assassination. Part of Dr. Martin Luther King’s speech in “What Is Your Life’s Blueprint?” reads as follows; ‘If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets as Michaelangelo painted or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, ‘Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.

A

s the world becomes smaller and global problems become bigger, there’s a dire need for evolutionary and radical thinkers more than ever before... Dr. Martin Luther King’s words resonate with what this publication is advocating for. The founders are of the opinion that these teachings can be fashioned for game changers. There is no better time than the present to LEARN, UNLEARN AND RELEARN what it truly takes to be an entrepreneur. INSPIRE zeroes in on a number of overlooked aspects of SUCCES, ENTREPRENEURSHIP and LEADERSHIP to name a few.

It is thus vital to know that in an era of tight market competition, irrational consumption, volatile global economic crisis and globalization; the skills required for successful entrepreneurship goes beyond the conventional POLC business management lesson you acquired years ago. Yes it is still important to PLAN, ORGANIZE, LEAD and CONTROL. But, in the mix; there are hard life lessons that cannot be found in text books but through real life experiences. It is in this light that we promise to bring you news that promises to enlighten your vision and redirect your perspective in some aspects of life
